This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of the website (this “Site”), which is owned by Body & Brain Foundation d/b/a Sedona Meditation Center (“Provider”). In addition, you can modify your information or change your preferences, as set forth in the “Reviewing or Changing Your Information” section below. Information obtained through this Site may be intermingled with and used in conjunction with information obtained through sources other than this Site, including both offline and online sources.

4. Discussions and Community Tools

This Site may make product reviews, chat rooms, forums, bulletin boards, news groups and other community tools available to registered users and/or visitors. If so, please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information for other users to view and for Provider to use. Please do not disclose any personally identifiable information in such publicly accessible areas of this Site. Please be considerate and respectful of others while using any chat rooms, forums or message boards to share your opinion.

We do not currently support any browser based DNT settings or participate in any DNT frameworks, and we do not take any actions in response to DNT signals.

You may opt out of receiving information from Provider and this Site. This opt out messaging will appear at the bottom of every email that is sent out. If you no longer wish to take advantage of this Site or receive any form of direct contact from Provider or this Site, whether it is email, discounts, newsletters, or other promotional offers or materials, you may contact us.

9. Reviewing or Changing Your Information

In order to ensure that the information we maintain is accurate, where there is a registration option, Provider also gives users the option to change or modify their information previously provided during registration. If you have registered and would like to change your information currently in our database, please log in and click the “My Account” link on this Site.

Provider may share your personal information: (i) with third parties who are under obligations of confidentiality with Provider or with Provider’s affiliates or subsidiaries, (ii) if Provider is required by law to do so, (iii) in the event of a transfer of ownership of Provider, merger or other similar transaction, or (iv) as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy. We may employ other third parties to perform services or functions on our behalf in order to improve this Site, merchandising, marketing and promotional efforts, communications or other services. Our advertising partners may use the non-personal information they collect from this Site, in the aggregate, to help us better market and serve our customers.

This Privacy Policy applies only to Provider’s Site and does not address the practices of third parties who may collect your personal information. You may visit other web sites, through links on this Site, which may collect, use and share your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies. The information practices of those linked websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to be very cautious before you disclose your personal information to others.

In order to provide you with the information, products or services which you have requested, we may share or transfer your personal information with our affiliates or subsidiaries, or third party agents acting on their behalf.

Provider may be obligated to cooperate with various law enforcement inquiries. Provider reserves the right to disclose or transfer personal information and non-personal information about you and your activities on this Site in order to comply with a legal requirement or request from law enforcement or other government officials, administrative agencies or third parties as we, in our sole discretion, determine necessary or appropriate for the administration of justice, or in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement or violations of any other law, rule or regulation, this Site’s Terms of Use or other rules or policies of this Site, the rights of third parties, or an investigation of any other activity that may expose us or you to legal liability, or to investigate any suspected conduct, which Provider in its sole discretion deems improper.

11. Social Media Plugins

On certain pages of this Site we may implement so-called social media plugins, in particular buttons connecting to the social media sites of Facebook, Inc., Google Inc. and Twitter, Inc. (“Social Media Sites”). When you visit a page that displays one or more of such buttons your browser will establish a direct connection to the respective servers of the Social Media Sites and load data via the button. The Social Media Sites will know that the respective page on our website has been visited.

We have no influence on the data that the Social Media Sites collect on the basis of the buttons. According to the available information, however, if you do not click on the respective buttons no personal data will be collected and stored unless you have logged onto to your account on the respective Social Media Sites. In that case, certain user data (including your IP address at the time) may be collected and linked to the account information already present at the respective Social Media Sites. If you wish to prevent this, please log out of your social media accounts before visiting this Site.

In addition, clicking a button may also lead to a collection of certain data, such as the user’s IP address. The Social Media Sites may set cookies as well, unless you have disabled the acceptance and storage of cookies in your browser settings (see the “Cookies” section above). We receive no information from the Social Media Sites about which social media buttons you may have clicked or seen on our website, but, if at all, we may receive a summarized statistical report of non-personal data relating to the use of the buttons.

12. Testimonial Guidelines

Thank you for taking the time to let others know about your experiences with Provider. Please let readers know how Provider’s practices have helped you. Be sure to share something about your background, including how long you have practiced and your condition prior to your experience with Provider. If possible, please provide a photo of yourself or allow us to use a photo of you that we may have on file. By clicking here you agree to our Image and Content Release Policy.

13. Image and Content Release Policy

You hereby grant permission to Provider to use your image in photographic, video or other form (“Image”) on its website or in other official digital publications without further consideration, and you also grant Provider permission to use an Image of you that they may otherwise have on file. You acknowledge Provider’s right to crop or treat or discontinue use of such image at its discretion. You further grant Provider the right to copyright, use, re-use, modify, publish, and republish your Image, name, written testimonial and biographical information, for any commercial or non-commercial purpose, in perpetuity and worldwide. You understand that once your Image, testimonial and related information are posted on Provider’s Site it can be downloaded. Therefore, you agree to indemnify and hold Provider and its affiliates or subsidiaries harmless from any and all related claims.

14. How We Protect Your Personal Information

Providing a secure site is essential for your peace of mind and trust in Provider. We have installed encryption software conforming to the Secure Socket Layers (SSL) protocol to safeguard all of the information you send to us. All information is stored on our servers in a secure location. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. If your password is compromised, notify Customer Service at once.

15. Protection for Children

This Site is not intended for users under the age of 18. Furthermore, we have no intention of collecting personally identifiable information from children (i.e., individuals under the age of 13). Where appropriate, we take reasonable measures to inform children not to submit such information to this Site or in response to advertisements.

If, despite our policy, a California resident under age 18 should become a registered user of this Site, then s/he may request the removal of any information that s/he has publicly posted to the Site by sending an email to with a detailed description of the specific information to be removed. Upon such request, we will remove the information posted by such a registered user, unless we are required by law to retain it.
